NH Businesses Stand Up for RGGI

Businesses from across New Hampshire are joining in the fight to protect the state’s energy future and support participation in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. Add your business to the list by contacting John Greene at jgreene@conservationnh.org.

As New Hampshire business leaders, we strongly support participation in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) because we know that investing in projects and programs that cost effectively reduce energy use simply makes sense for our economy and our environment. RGGI proceeds should be used to lower energy bills – not to balance the state budget.

We urge New Hampshire lawmakers to continue supporting forward thinking programs like RGGI that are creating jobs, investing in our communities, boosting our competitiveness, protecting ratepayers, reducing pollution and building the bridge to a clean and secure energy future.
